QUESTION: WHERE IS contact files?

i have a back-up of my c drive which includes all office files. i reinstalled the system and therefore lost all CONTACT and MAILs, now i wanna get them back, of course i don't wanna rewrite c drive coz that will ruin the whole system. so i think i can find the outlook contact files to cover the contempory ones so as to get the contact restored.
anyideas please?

did you use outlook or outlook express?

if it was OE, you're screwed... if it was outlook there's a chance it was saved...

I don't have outlook installed, but if someone does then search thru your outlook settings for the location of contact files or something along those lines...
