Updating a table using an array ?!

Hi,

I am trying to update a value in 1 table referencing another....
the first table in my database is called cart with these two fields:
Item_code 62, 32, 35
QTY 3, 1, 2

The second table called CD has these fields:
Item_code 62, 32, 35
Stock_level 20, 20, 20

Does anyone know how i can update the stock_level in CD where item_codes match...?

I have no idea if this works, but it's worth a try:

UPDATE cart,CD SET (CD.Stock_level = CD.Stock_level - cart.QTY) WHERE (cart.Item_code = CD.Item_code)
