Make Errors on Solaris 8

Sunfire V100 running Solaris 8.

I get the following error when running make.... any chance you guys can help?

gcc: ext/st: No such file or directory
make: *** [sapi/cli/php] Error 1

Seems I can never get a clean install on Solaris without SOMETHING puking.

you're lucky, I had exactly this error today 😃

go to www.sunfreeware.com , select sparc/sol8 and download
the sed 4.0 -package

install with "pkgadd -d pkgname" and the error's gone

Damn it... now apache interprets any php file as plain text, instead of executing it.

Have I mentioned how much I hate Solaris and how much I love FreeBSD lately?

Once again, I have fixed it.

For those that wanted to learn, you'll need to complete the appending of the httpd.conf file.

I had to add more than just the loading of the module. If anyone wants to know, reply and I'll post all the lines I added and where I added them.
