Getting a blank screen when using PWS...

So i go to my php file with my browser by going http://localhost/test.php and see a blank screen. I do view > source and i see the php code. the faq section on php.net just says there is a configuration problem with Personal Web Server.... Im very confused... In PWS, i have teh execute check box ticked for the home directory, and ive disabled cgi.force_redirect in teh php.ini. Can anyone shed any light??

Id be most grateful.. spent the entire day trying to get this bastard to work.

haha. yeah i should have said. Windows 98, and i installed PHP using the installation documents EXACTLY, specifically for PWS. So everything should be in order.....

if so, is there an error (Php..)

do i turn error_reporting on just in teh php.ini? and no i havent rebooted, ill do it now, so excuse me if i dont reply for a while.

error_reporting is usualy on by default
error_reporting = E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE

if not there's like 3 options I usually comment out the ones I don't want to use, & keep one I do want...

the php.ini file is usually in the windows folder too..

you edit the file, stop PWS, then Start PWS & viola, new PHP.INI settings.

Yup. looks like its gonna show errors. still, its a blank screen. this is what the faq's says:

Unix/Windows: I have installed PHP, but when I try to access a PHP script file via my browser, I get a blank screen.

Do a 'view source' in the web browser and you will probably find that you can see the source code of your PHP script. This means that the web server did not send the script to PHP for interpretation. Something is wrong with the server configuration - double check the server configuration against the PHP installation instructions

But PWS doesnt really let you change many settings.....
