redirecting to another page

i'm new to php. how do i redirect to another page in php, sort of like the response.redirect in asp? thanks

header ("Location: otherpage.htm");

Users can disable re-direction so its always a good idea to put a link to the redirected page on the page you are rediecting from e.g:

 If you havn't been redirected by your browser click <a href="otherpage.htm">here</a>

For a bit more on this topic check out what I posted under another topic: Force POST on redirect . This allows for redirection, it preserves all the POST and GET variables, as well as not cluttering up the history.
