We are building an image bank, and have an image search engine, when the gallery opens, it says php at the end of the url, so I assume it's written in PHP.... told you I was a newbie.
A friend build the search engine as it is now, but now has a job, and doesn't have time to fix up bug's for us..... so I either have to find someone that knows about php that will work swapping skills, or learn it myself fast.... or both.
Firstly, one big problem is that when you do a search all the results show up on one page...... and with over 100 results and growing every day, this needs to be changed so it has say 25 results and then a next-back page option..... how long would it take a professional to add this feature, and how long would it take to learn how to do it myself.

Second problem, I want to add the category search from the gallery to other html pages on the site..... how do I do this, I jerry-rigged it so it looks like the catagory search, but if you looked at the source for the page, you would get a good laugh to see how I did it...... http://canz.biz there's one of these "Special category searches here....
And Thirdly, can you tell me a website to learn php..... I mean a total newbies site......
