HELP ME PLEASE 🙂 I have a main screen then a screen with database contents. I want to pass a varible from the first screen to the 2nd to dtermine the outcome of the database.

So. the user clicks on the option for 1 and it inserts '1' into the statements, clicks on 2 inserts '2' etc

this is my statment so far on the 2nd screen

select * from
item,manfac
where item.manid = manfac.manid
AND item.typeid = '2'

where 2 is the option number.

By "clicks on the option for 1" I guess you have a button with "1" on it? And a button for "2", "3" and so on?

I guess you could make them all submit buttons with the same name ("submit"?), and the numbers as their values. Then on the next page look to see what the value of $_POST['submit'] is.
