And there's the possibility of travel to the US!! (never been and really hope that I get to go to the texas office) Anyone here from texas?

Congrats!!!! Texas is not "really" the average state though. Starting from the accent to the people. I hear it's quite friendly and hospitality is important there. Never been there.

Well, I am sure you can. I did. Spent all my time in California (both LA and San Francisco), Boston and Chicago. IMHO best place is LA in winter with frequent trips to Chicago (no redeye I get cranky).

Tell me what's to see in the colorado rockies and I shall start saving my money (no K :rolleyes: ).

United? I do know they lost some idiotically huge amount over the last month; and their Pacific operations are being cut back.

Woah people!! I think any trip would come under business rather than please 😉 and so I don't think I'd be able to visit anywhere OTHER than texas.

That looks like so much fun, we (Minnesota) hardly got any snow this year. I hate that! Only got to snowmobile once this year. How much snow was that? If you get sick of it, send as much as you want up here. I'll take it, lol. And I still think the Rockies are the #1 place to visit in the US.

jk of course. i love colorado....almost as much as texas. i moved to boulder after college but missed texas too much and came home after a year. my sister now lives in ft. collins however.

I drove 100 miles in that stuff lol. I was returning from a long roadtrip and couldn't get to my town due to avalanches, so I slept in my truck one night and a hotel another.

We got 4 1/2 - 5 ft here and there was up to 10 just a little west of me. The national guard was called out to help get to people that search and rescue couldn't. They eventually got to 100 people that were stranded in cars up to 36 hours. Most without food and, I don't quite understand this part, without water, but isn't that the whole problem - there's just too much water?

It's evidentally Colorado's worse in 90 years.
