upload multiple files

Hi Everyone.

I did a search on here for upload mulitple files, and every example I saw had you clicking the browse button every time you wanted to upload another file.

I am wondering if there is any way to click the browse button once, and then choose many files (hold down ctrl key or whatever) and upload those files?

I have no idea if this is even possible, or if something like this can be done with Java or PHP?

Any ideas?
