Mail() - periods in FROM header

I've noticed that using periods in the FROM doesn't work so well. For instance, if "Joe B. Smith" is passed to it, it will come back in the email as "Joe B.Smith". Anyone know of a workaround for this?

Figured it out if anyone runs into this. Try this:

$mm_from = str_replace(".", ". ", $mm_from);
