ImageRotate() on FreeBSD

Does anyone else have a problem getting the ImageRotate function to work? I have been waiting for a while to see if it was just a version mismatch on my server, but now I have the latest release of PHP and GD2 installed.

I get this error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: imagerotate() in /usr/local/www/data/SomePage.php on line 51

Also, is there a work around? As in, is there another way to rotate an image, without using an external graphics manipulation prog?
