Image Check (PHP/GD & Imagemagick)

I Want to do a image check, im downloading 10000 images weekly from a server but sometimes it goes wrong, im checking all the images with manualy now, its takes alot of time.

i know i can make this in php or gd or imagemagick but how, can someone help me.

i want to check gif,jpg images.

i only need a little sample, you may use gd or imagemagick, your choice, thanks for helping me.

What are you checking for?

just need to check it if it doesnt contains errors and that its 100% complete

i can use ImagefromJPEG,etc or mogrify.

i think a function with the follow options, but i can't get it to work.

i think the best option is to use GD, but this is my first time im busy so i need some help from you or the another guys

input file = JPG or GIF file
output result = 0:bad image,1:good image
