Hello.

I'd like to ask you to help me only, sure if my problem may be solved somehow.

I have a form and a list of links to different categories in a tree mode. Though when I want to insert the data from the form to some of the categories, this category must be active. But if I have inserted some text and I click on another link on order to change the active category I lose the inserted data.

I have read various posts about form processing but I couldn't find if my idea can be managed. I suppose it might be solved by JavaScript, but as I have a very limited knowledge in JavaScript I can't invent it myself.

Please, if anybody knows how to solve my problem or have met it before, I ask him to help me.

with the script and form below, selecting a different category from the select menu clears the other 2 fields.
