php mail not working on server

Hi,

I am having a problem in sending mail using php
mail functions. Even I tested the mail fuctions with a lot
of test scripts but to no avail, even the mail logs didnt
show anything.
Currently no mails are being sent that makes use of the php mail function.

I am using php version 4.3.1 and apache version
Apache/1.3.27.

take out the http://internet-studios.co.uk

and keep test.php ....let me now if it works...🙂

I had this too, drove me nuts, until I included the headers and an f flag:

$to = "[e-mail]"; 
$from = "[e-mail]";
$subject = "feedback from Website";
$msg = "test message";

$mailheaders = "MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n";
$mailheaders .= "Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1\r\n";

mail ($to, $subject, $msg, $mailheaders, $from);

then it worked

the $to or the $from needed to be from my domain aswell

HI,

The problem is that the mails are not been send from the server(cpanel) to any address out side the server but the mails are send perfectly to any email address within the server . The problem does not seem to be with the code but with some kind of server wide setting.
