PHPCon East 2003 : what's up with registration?

Here I am trying to register online for the 2003 PHP Conference East in New York April 23-25, I've got my plastic ready and I'm prepared to part with my own hard-earned dollars... and there's no online credit card registration! You have to download a PDF and print it and fill it out with -- get this -- a pen! Then fax it so you can beat the early bird discouint deadline.

Does that seem like an incredible irony, or what? Maybe the company that they contracted to administer this stuff wanted to gouge them too much... I don't know. There must be an explanation. I've emailed somebody about it but haven't heard back yet.

Sorry to hear you are having problems registering. The PDF form is not a requirement and in fact we do have online registration available through Acteva.

Well shut my mouth! You are quite right, and I was mistaken. I went looking for it once and didn't see it even though I was really trying, but you persuaded me to try again, and my reg is done. I look forward to the conference.
