PHP Module/Library?

Is there a php module or library for PHP? er... Like in perl there was CGI.pm what about for PHP? Making things alot easier for somethings, like parsing and stuff. And alot of other things... Anyone know?

maybe you are referring to classes?
there is a php depository that has php classes for use.
its called Pear, found at: http://pear.php.net
click on Packages on the top right hand of main page to get the codes.

actually I was referring to modules or libraries... Usually created to make life easier, and not having everyone recreate the wheel. Like CGI.pm for instance for perl, It makes alot of things easier... Its a compilation of a whole lot of classes and functions. That is what I mean... (I just want to see how much of a module there is actually...)
