outputting all the variables and there names

Is there a way without going through and saying echo $variablenamehere

to echo all the variables names and values that are being passed from a form on the receiving page?

i believe $_POST is an array (to lazy to check), so you can do something like this:
// should work.

foreach ($_POST as $key => $value) {
echo "Key: $key; Value: $value<br>\n";
}

i think phpinfo() might have the information too. could be wrong about that too! 🙂

you're right. $_POST is an array (and i love the too lazy to check. you sound like me).

Anyways, this is handy to know. Take advantage of arrays and loops. They'll save you hours of coding and prevent tedious little parse errors from typing in so many variables.

Boy did this degrade very quickly - Thank you for the help.

I am slowly coming to realize that arrays really do help and may actually go back to redo some code to utilize them a little more. But then again.... If it ain't broke....

if you're not familiar with the foreach, while, or for loops, then you're really missing out. They seriously will save you hours of coding.
