File Listing in PHP

Hey, I was just wondering if there is a function or anything that returns all the files in a given directory, or something like that?

Does anybody know?

These are the functions you need. You'll also have to do a loop.

Yeah, I looked through those, I can't seem to find one that returns the files in a given directory (i.e. maybe it would return an array or something.)

Most of these functions deal with a specified file, and don't deal with finding files without you telling it what the filename is.

Here;s some code I used to display images located in a directory. This should help, hopefully.

        $d = dir($home."/www/cmsimages");
        $html = "\n<form action=\"images.php\" method=\"post\">";
        while ( false !== ($e = $d->read()) )
        {
            if ( $e != '.' && $e != '..' )
            {
                $html .= "\n<br /><input type=\"radio\" name=\"image_del\" value=\"$e\"></input>&nbsp;";
                $html .= "\n<a href=\"/cmsimages/$e\" target=\"_blank\">$e</a>";
            }
        }
        $d->close();
