mysql_connect Function.

Hiya,

I'm real new at this but I'm writing the first bit of script to use the mysql_connect function and when I run it in a page it comes up with a message stating undefined function.

I'm using Linux 7.1 with Apache 1.3.19.5 and mysql version 3.23.36.1

Was this function called this under this version or has it changed ?

I'm thinking that it's probably not readin gin a library file correctly but thought I might check anyway.

Is there a file with all the library functions in the install that I can browse through ?

All solved

I checked and all the right packages were loaded.

Checked the run-levels for Mysql and only had three turned on Doh ..turned on 5 and bang connected straight away...
