Multiple database management

I am currently working on a project that has an access backend and php front end. Basically there will be sites across America with access databases filled with answers to surveys. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good rescources(websites, books) for uploading these databases to a server, and preforming queries on them.

you are looking to centralize the data, when all is said and done? then running queries on the complete dataset?

do the access dbs have web access?

The access databases will be filled locally, then uploaded.

the approach that i would take is to use VBA in the background on the access dbs to do the following:

1. create a text file from the survey data
2. open an FTP function to load the data to the server

then use PHP to open the file and load it to the server DB
