e-mail list in text file

grace lou freebush [e-mail]

say if i have this text file "emaillist.txt", one subscriber one line, tab between first name, last name, e-mail address.

1)
i want read this text file and grab the first name, last name and e-mail address.

2)
use these information to send out an e-mail individually. (this part i know)

3)
and write down the first name, last name and e-mail address to a new file called "emailresult.txt".

bob smith [e-mail] OK
jon bush [e-mail] FAILed
grace lou freebush [e-mail] OK

First read the file into an array with file().
Then you need to explode() the elements of this array.

This will give you another array with the first- and lastname and the email adress.

with the values of this array you can call the mail() function.
