cron error

I have tried to set a cron job up from my control panel, using the command
php -q /home/iwontfor/public_html/admin/mail_out.php > /dev/null
The script is called but I get the following error.

Failed loading /usr/local/Zend/lib/ZendOptimizer.so: /usr/local/Zend/lib/ZendOptimizer.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Can any one help😕

Sounds like you have the Zend Optimizer installed and it can't find one of it's files. Does this happen with all of your PHP scripts or just the cron one?

Try reinstalling PHP and the Optimizer (if needed). I'm not much of a Linux guy so I think thats as far as I can go with this one.

Thanks for your reply. It only happens with the cron script, unfortunately it is paid for hosting so I do not have the ability to recompile. I have emailed them but no reply.

I also tried
php -q http//www.siteurl.co.uk/admin/mail_out.php > /dev/null

but no success

to they have the cgi version of php installed, if not, you need to use lynx to run cron
