Just a quick thing, i have this line:

it gives an output of...something like.........£ 2810.5263157895

How can i make it stop at like 2810.53

2 decimal places

try mysql_error() to find your error:

mysql_connect (localhost,elliott,password) or die(mysql_error());

mysql_select_db ("quote") or die(mysql_error());;

Just the question of rounding to 2 dp's

try that, i aint rounding it up myself 🙂

ok i tried that, but not quite sure on how to implement it into my code.

This is a html table with the variable just displaying there

could i put this around $mortgage_quote ?

or if its in an echo

hmm tried it the HTML way as the page was previsoully designed in html. no errors or warnings when i tried but it doesnt give any output just the £ then nothing 🙁

well i've forgotten what your code looked like,
just get rid of the <? and ?> around it so you just have

number_format($mortgage_quote, 2, '.', '')

Hmm now i get just this.............

£ number_format(2810.5263157895, 2, '.', '');

Hmmm not really sure what to do, but need something to not make it output the code also
