Question about Sort

I am looking to sort results from a mysql returned query.

I return an array of results with about 7 fields. I would like to sort them by a specific field in numeric order.

I am unsure which sort will work best for me, if anyone has any help to offer.

SELECT * FROM table ORDER BY field_name ASC (or DESC) etc

There are some cases which an SQL sort cannot handle. You will want to store your query results in an array then use usort.
