Wish comments about new page

I wish some comments and critisism about a PHP page that I am working on please, almost finished.

Here are my only suggestions (and I'm a bit picky).

Set a font such as verdana or arial. I'm not too fond of the default times.

"The clocks updates automaticly " should be

The clocks update automatically.

I'd suggest using form validation (even javascript) to make sure they inputted something into the form (with both forms). Besides that, I like it. Never would have thought of making a site with "global time".

Thanks for the feedback and nice words.

"The clocks update automatically" it is now.

I also have set the font to verdana, size 2.

And now there is a validation check on the forms.

At tell your friend,, both fields has to be entered, and at the contact webmaster form the message is a must. (A pop up is showed to the user is some data is missing)

Also...to all here, thanks for the help I got here at Phpbuilder to make the site, one of my first PHP sites actually. I belive I will use PHP more and more instead of ASP in the future, much because the nice mood on this site. (and also becasue I see that PHP is taking market from ASP every day now)

not if you live near Microsoft (Washington) like me. Go to monster.com and type in php in Washington, then try with ASP or .net. it sucks 🙁

Good job on your first php site. The changed fonts really do add a lot.

Hm...that really s**cks. I see PHP as a more programmerfriendly language, but both is a lot working the same also.

I do live in Sweden , I did read about our neighbour country Denmark, the gouverment there will change very much of their programs from MS to free open source, and save incredibly a lot of money(I belive that it was about $400 000 000 yearly (not 100% sure of the sum), which is very much for a small country. Maybe I got a bit off topic here..hehe

A thing I have to solve is since the page updates every 60 seconds, people that is writing a message or their friends email will be annoyed, because if they are unlucky the page updates, and they will have to start over again....

Will think about a solution.

Only thing is that I miss an important country in your list : the Netherlands
The Netherlands is in the top 3 of European countries using Internet, so if you want a lot of extra visitors, add this country.

I have a list with approx 300 lines (countries, states etc), that I will add shortly. (please check back tommorrow, and you will be happy 🙂 (It's just so boring typing them, but I will do it)

You could put the bit that refreshes in a frame, so that when you're typing a message, you wont have a problem with it refreshing. I like the idea of the site though, could be very handy! 🙂

Newbie at this so ain't gonna say much. The bookmark should be an automatic update though, have some java script lying around which does that 🙂

Nice looking site. Quick question, after you enter all the stuff does it give you a local time type graphic or something. If so PM me as we could get something happening there, our current one has apparently crashed and burned.
