Have just installed Apache 2/PHP 4.3.1/MySQL on my WindowsXP And tested some scripts incl. database it works fine in the document root, but further down the directory structure the scripts won't run, only HTML

That just happened to a friend of mine. I forgot what exactly he said it was, I think it has something to do with the "doc_root" variable in php.ini . He had his set incorrectly. Worked fine after he made a change. 🙂
