It looks like a really good April fools joke. If it isn't then php will be on the decline with that Microsoft authorizes changes bit.

the gang at php.net had some fun on April 1st. In place of the logo they had a picture of a guy with 2 pencils sticking out of his mouth.

You get the pic of the guy with the pencils in his nose instead of the php logo!

I changed my local date back to April 1st and I got a picture of a dog, not the guy with pencils. Odd, anyone else get this?

Here is how you get the picture of the guy with the pencils sticking out of his mouth:

Where info.php is a php script containing nothing but <? phpinfo(); ?>

yup, got man with pencils on php 4.2.1 for windows
and got dog on php 4.3.1 for linux

maybe it might have to do something for OS too

Must admit that was a good one. Another thing that got me thinking it wasnt anything more that just some joke was that it wasnt on the Main Page or at Micro$oft.

It does not depend on OS, got php 4.3.1 on Win, got the dog aswell.

I got a kick out of it, too. Almost as funny as the discussion on some of the FreeBSD lists about how best to implement RFC 3514, and whether it would be backported to previous releases....
