What's the best PHP editor/IDE at the moment?

I just tried Zend's IDE.
It's quite OK, but the editor part of the IDE is quite primitive:

Auto-indentation is not good.
Code re-formatting is very bad.
No way to trim trailing spaces.
PHPDoc support is very limited.

Can any of you recommend something better?

I wish there were something like IntelliJ IDEA for PHP. IDEA is the most amazing IDE I've ever used. It's only for Java though.

PHPEdit.

It's awesome. I use the latest release version instead of version .6

It's my favorite by far. And the have another utility that you can download to clean up your code, too.

I would second PHPEdit....the load ups are a tad slow but otherwise its a great proggie!

The documentation and help section with links to the official PHP manual are awesome too.

A search in Google will give you download sites...

Personally I use EditPlus

But a friend of mine makes SourceEdit which is a great freeware editor for all formats and has alot of great features.

Well, I went with UltraEdit.

It doesn't do much specific to PHP, but it's the leanest, most feature-complete editor I found after trying more than 15 of them.
