HTTPS Information

I am very new to the world of HTTPS and SSL encryption. I am at the beginning stages of setting an corporate management system and I need to know some good sources for PHP on Apache and SSL encryption.

Does this [url]https://[/url] stuff change the way code has to be submitted or does the secured socket complete all this automatically.

As long as SSL is set up to point to the same directory as your normal http traffic (ie, going to http://yoursite.com/whatever/somedir and https://yoursite.com/whatever/somedir yield the same results). I can't think of anything significant that you need to look out for in coding though...
