phplive question

Is phplive done soley in php? and how does it work. Does it work through meta refreshes?

I have seen it in action before, and it didn't seem that is uses refreshes. However, if it doesn't, then it can't be done completely in php can it? because I thought php processes are terminated as soon as the page finishes loading.

Can someone clarify?

looks like the desktop streaming product but that's java I think.

they probably have some hidden frames somewhere. I'd save the page (as opposed to view source) and then view source and see what's there. Maybe post some.
