relay all outgoing email to external SMTP

How can i relay all my outgoing email to an external SMTP in Linux7.3 box? (default sendmail service)??

I believe that there is a SMARTHOST directive in the later versions of Sendmail that might be what you're looking for....

yes, this is what i did and it works. (work only for default sendmail service). If install other mail server software, normally it will replace the default sendmail.

shell> vi /etc/mail/sendmail.mc

add in :

define(SMART_HOST',smtp.somewheresmtp.com')
