php pages...5 weeks now!!!

I can access my php pages great if i'm doing it through ftp or home (local network), but when i'm not on ftp or at home...say a campus computer or just outside, it takes 2.5 minutes to see my php page? what is the problem? And to top it off, some users can access my php page fine, while others takes awhile to view the same php page? I've been searching for 5 weeks now and I can't find an answer....

can anyone help out????? I've searched thousands of places, even copying free php codes and transfer it into my own server. same result!!!! I'm sad and frustrated that other php pages are working while mine isn't 100% working.

There are many things that contribute to slow loading of pages.

Server. Maybe full or too many users accessing the one server at any given time

PC you are using - Modem Speed 56k it happens a lot to be quite slow..

RAM on Computer
Amount Free Space on the Computer
What Browser you are using. IE can sometimes tend to be slow. Netscape on the other hand is fast as long as the HTML on the otherside is correct and not needing to be fixed.

There are a few more reasons but they are the main ones and mostly always contribute to what you are experincing.
