redirection from a framed page

hi there all..
hope you guys are in great condition...

okay.. today, i've got one curiosity in php

first of all... i know that php can redirect page using

header("Location: [url]http://[/url]".$_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'].dirname($_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME'])."/"."index.php");
exit;

i understand that,
if i have a left and right page,
and if i do redirection in either frame,
it will redirect to it's respective frames...

but how do you redirect a framed page, to a single page..
take for example the flow below..

main.php (single) <----> content.php (framed, content_left.php, content_right.php)

now how do i redirect the framed content.php to the single main.php

and owh.. i wish not to use anything else (client-side) except PHP

You can't use PHP alone for this. Since the frame is client-side, PHP doesn't even know it's in a frame.

You'll have to use javascript. Look up parent.location.

it's okay guys.. i found out a way around it..
it's amazing what you can do with a 'lil bit of imagination :p
and i dont even have to use a j.script to do this..
