Page Sisplaying badly

Hi All

Having a bit of a problem.

I am using ie 6 and a page that i have written is going wrong.

Right, the first time i open a browser and goto my page it doesnt display the page correctly, leaving "\" all over the place and messing up the table positioning on my page and displaying some code too.

Problem is when i press refresh on the page it displays perfectly. To get it to do the naff page again i have to close ie and go back to the page, and it will be displayed messed up. The display is messed up in the exact same way everytime, and refreshing it always works to sort it out..

Anyone having a similar problem and hopefully know a solution or at least what might be the cause of this, i have already spent 10 hours looking into and moving tables, php code, echos allsorts, please help....

it could come from session variables.
when you open your browser, you don't have any sessions yet, so it can't display your stuff the way you want
but it creates your session.

when you reload, as you now have a session, it works perfect.

that could be something else, of course, but that's the first thing that came to my mind.

thanks for replying, the sission is already creates tho, there is a selection of pages i have to go through in order to get to the page.

When viewing the source it seems as if a "</td> tag has exploded and put bits all over the page, therefore screwing up the whole page, but i cant pinpoint a single one as exploding, its different for each different set of results for that page, total nightmare...
