Firewall problem

Hi,

I am trying to connect from my website which is sitting in the DMZ on my Firewall to mysql db thats sitting on the LAN behind the firewall. I created a user on the mysql server with IP and port 3306 and user and password but I cant connect.

Any ideas?

Can you telnet on port 3306 to the database server through the firewall? If not, congrats, your firewall is working and you will need to allow access to your database through the firewall.
