this is just a math formula question.....
subtotal = ???
grandtotal = subtotal + (subtotal * 0.1)
how do you figure out the subtotal if you only know the grand total?
explanation:
lets say you sell something for $100.00 but you add %10 ($10.00) just for the heck of it. that brings the grand total to $110.00. using only the grand total ($110) and the known perfectage added, how do you figure the subtotal?
if anyone can please help me, thanks... and no, i cant just echo out the subtotal... this isnt really a php question, its just a formula question.
