Image upload OK on Mac... but not on a PC

oddly the following code does work for a mac but all images and file types return invalid from a Pc... I don't get it...

all I am doing here is checking for image type and renaming the image based on the userid

any help is profoundly appreciated.

i mite be rong here, but i think u need a slash after the path, jus b4 the filename.

ie:
