Dear Friends,

Good morning, I am working in a small organization and developed 4
php websites having the features shoppingcart, discussionforum,
newsletters, imagae uploading, classifides, dynamic e greetings,
file management, database administration gui , mailinglists, and
an internal site searchengine(without using any database) using
the arrays, site registrations, userlogins, site adminsitrations
(granting and revoking the permissions of clients)

all these features are developed by my own.

When i am attending the interviews I am facing the following
question as follows

1) what are differences between jsp and php ,in what situations
you can go for jsp and in what situations you can go for php

1) what are differences between asp and php ,in what situations
you can go for jsp and in what situations you can go for php

I am unable to to give exace answer to these questions,

I request all, to plase send me some solution to these questions

both questions go in the same direction: it depends what environment your customer has:
- if he has a microsoft-platform with .net you'll choose ASP
- if you have a J2EE platform and wanna build a web-app around some java-components, you'll need JSP
- and finally, on linux/unix platforms PHP may be a good choice.

there are countless differences between the languages, but all serve the same purpose - they're meant for buildung web-applications.
