I'm wondering if it's possible to load a pdf document into a php text string, for regular echo() output in a html page.
I've recently browsed phpbuilder forums for an answer but it seems that everyone's happy displaying the pdf document with acrobate reader within the browser.
Which I'm not...
Can you do this with PHP or do I have to use Perl or something simular? I do know it's possible because Google search enginge uses a function like that. There you can search for pdf documents and choose wether to display them as a pdf in acrobat or as a html document.
Does someone knew how or maybe know where I can find a script like that?
