Hello all,
Looking for some advice on how some of you pros out there would pull something like this off...check it out:
A user submits a form. The form then gets e-mailed to someone.
There is a recipient list table with the recipient's ID, name, email and 2 extra fields: LEVEL and STATUS
I want the SUBMITTED FORM INFO to get emailed to the RECIPIENT that is "in line" to receive it. Now see, say a recip has a LEVEL of 3. That means he will get the next 3 form submits before moving to the next guy.
- The STATUS field holds the number we are on. Say a recip starts with 3. A form gets submitted, that number is knocked down to 2. Another gets submitted, knocked down to 1. Then, when the thing finally hits 0, we move to the next person in the RECIPIENT list.
Finally, when we get to the end of the RECIP list, and that person's STATUS has reached 0, we reset eveyone's STATUS and start from the top again.
Make sense? Is this a studpid way to do this? Is there a better way?
Looking for some alternative ways to tackle this bad boy.
Let me know what you guys think!
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
