how can I get a list of images in a directory

Hello ladies and gents...perhaps you may be able to help.

I need to have the facility to be able to display a list of all of the images in a certain directory on my site. They are all *.jpg images and I need to somehow display the full list, togtehr with the height and width of each image.

Is this possible and if so, does anyone have any idea how?

yup... use this:
http://www.php.net/manual/de/function.readdir.php

... parse out every file that ends with jpg and then use this:
http://www.php.net/manual/de/function.getimagesize.php

...on each file.
