Hey All.

Im quite new to this PHP thingo ... So any help will be greatly apprectiated.

I run a Computer Sales business and am quite sick of updating my pricelist every week ... As it takes me about 6 hours to do.

What i need is quite complex ... But please be patient with me ... Ok ... Here goes.

I need a script that does the following.

User requests a price for a product off my site ---> The script will then use MY username and password to access my WHOLESALERS website ---> It will then take the requested product and price from the WHOLESALERS website ---> Add 35% to the price ---> Then spit the output onto my website ... Making it look like the price came from my server ... Without revealing my wholesalers name.

Sound complex??? It did to me ... I have already created the header and footer files for the output to be generated in. But buggered if i can figure out the rest.

If anybody at all has any idea what im talking about ... Or better yet can help me with the code ( even snippets would help ) It would be greatly greatly greatly appreciated.

Eehm.. Do you have acces to query the wholesaler database?

Then you could just query the database, just as simpe as your own database. Otherwise.. Hm..
No, I think you need to be able to query the database.

In any case.. In order for us to help you, you'd need to give us some more info. How do you get info from the wholesaler site etcetc.

Sorry .... Yes i am a registered dealer ... I have to enter a username and password to access the pricelist ... Broken down ... The code needs to:

Automatically Authenticate my username and password to their site.
Grab the info from a HTML page.
Cut the price from the description.
Add 35% to the price.
Put the total price BACK into the description.
Put it on my website.

Im not sure about logging out of my wholesalers website ... I dont really think i need to worry about that one.
