Temperamental Error message

The code:

include("http://www.*****.com/community/ssi.php?a=lastposts");

On some hits casues this error message: (Its odd because sometimes it works perfectly and other times I get this message)

Anybody know why. (My domain only just pointed to this server today.)

is the server where the include file resides "brooky.com"?

or i should say .. are you trying to include a file from another server? if not, .. try using a reletive path instead of an absolute.

now that i think about it .. your variables are are stored in your browser .. and if you are using an include, i don't think you can pass variables into it. try this:

<? 

$a="lastposts";
include("community/ssi.php?a=lastposts"); 

?>

that would only work if it was a reletive link though.

Thanks but that doesn't seem to work.

This is really odd, why should it work 50% of the time the page is refreshed or visited and not the other half of the time. So wierd!!

I'm hosted with www.dot5hosting.com and the accounts only been up for about 24hrs. Do you think it could be a php setting?

looks like you are still using variables in your include, .. like i said i don't think you can do that.

try this:

$a="lastposts";
include("/home/virtual/site21/fst/var/www/html/community/ssi.php");
?>

otherwise, i have no clue.
