This sitemap creator php script has been working on other sites, but I keep getting error messages when I try it on this site...http://www.weatherburn.com/sitemap.php .

This page takes a minute even on fast connections to show the results.
This is one of the error messages I am getting, it repeats itself several times:
Warning: ChDir: No such file or directory (errno 2) in /usr/home/weatherburn/htdocs/files/sitemap.php on line 39
And I am also getting these messages:
Warning: OpenDir. Too many open files in system (errno 23)
in /usr/home/weatherburn/htdocs/sitemap.php
on line 41
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource
in /usr/home/weatherburn/htdocs/sitemap.php
These also are repeating errors on the page.
As I said I am using this script successfully on other sites. I would really appreciate it if someone could take a look at the error messages and the script code. I would put a snippet of code hree but I really don't know what part is causing the problem.

( I left out the "php" of "<?php" - that apparently allows you to see the source code, at least in this instance).
