changing the config file for installation

Hello,

I am reading the directions for installing a resume posting application I got from hotscripts. Here is my problem: the instructions in the readme file say to "edit the config file"----does this refer to changing things likethe database name, username, etc? how do i know what exactly i'm supposed to change?

edit the config.php file that came with the script - in the zip file there should have been config.php edit that file
