how to access mysql db located at different path?

hi all

i have an sql db located at D: \mydata\mydb while mysql setting of data in my.ini file is
datadir=E:/mysql/data/
i don't want to change niether mydb path nor mysql data path in my.ini file
tell me is there any way that i can connect with mydb without changing path in ini file
