mail sending... not arriving....

I have several mail scripts on different domains that have been working on my former server which runs PHP Version 4.2.1. I have moved my domains to another server which runs PHP Version 4.2.3.

After moving these scripts to the new server they have stopped working.
I have looked over the configurations in the php.ini and everything that seems to be relevant seems to be the same.

My code is as listed --

$headers = "From: \"$sender_name\" <$sender_email>\n";
mail("[e-mail]", "mydomain.com Contact", $message, $headers);

This code has been working up to the time that I moved to the new server.
This new server is a dedicated server that is leased by me. I have ability to change alot, if I know what is 'broken'.

If it appears to be sending ok from php then it sounds like sendmail configuration problem.

I have this on my internal server at the moment. PHP will happily talk to sendmail and sendmail will accept th emessage, but I have a feeling I haven't set up sendmail properly to punt my messages on to the correct place (not a major issue for me, I test stuff like this on a different external server).

Anyhow - check your sendmail stuff - sounds like the problem to me 🙂
