odd question

i know this might not be the right place to ask this question, but i hope somebody could answer me if it is possible....

i wonder if it is possible to have a mailserver of some sort that automatically saves the images in a special directory...

or if it is possible to have upload anything via wap and php... i had a place in mind where i could mail (or wapping them if that is possible) images from my phone onto a site, without having to upload them from a computer..

i hope you understand what i mean and that you coudl give a clue of some sort!

It is possible to upload file with PHP, do a search in this forum, there are many Qs (with ans) about upload here...

ive come this far:

since my mobile phone only can mail with attachments, and that it seems like upload via WAP is impossible, i want to mail to a newsgroup. i have an application that strips all images from a newsgroup and puts those images in a directory, which i can put on my webserver...

the problem now is: how do send a regular mail to a newsgruop without having a newsgroup client?
