PHP and Word

Hi,

I am wondering if it is possible to setup some kind of connection with PHP and Microsoft Word so that variables in PHP are transfered into a Word document (automatically fills predefined fields). If not Word, are there any similar alternatives?

Well, you could always just copy the contents of a word file and then just enter in PHP variables where they should go. 🙂
Most of the formats are readable, especially if it is .rtf.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the webserver is running Redhat just in case that changes anything...
