[ Apache 2.0.45 / PHP 4.3.1 / MySQL 4.0.12 ] -- [ Win 2k ]

Hello...

I've successfully installed mySQL & Apache both as services on my system & I've attempted to install PHP as a module. I'm kind of confused at the results I'm getting tho.

I've installed phpMyAdmin and it seems to be operating fine, but that seems to be the only PHP code that is executed properly. All of my other code just ends up outputting

<html><body></body></html>

Any ideas what could be going on? I'm stumped.

hmmm... well, after uninstalling Apache2 (thinking it might have somthing to do with that) and then installing Apache 1.3 and getting the same results I have finally figured it out.

register_globals was off.

Good news is ... problem solved.

Bad news is ... all the apps I have written need to now be re-written to comply with the safer standard of leaving register_globals off.

Can you tell I'm a newbie? hehe...

Obviously not too new, you seem to have solved your own problem. A true newbie would have just kept posting here every hour wondering why no one replied.
